Giant boxes the size of elephant containers arrived in New York earlier this year. I was there as they were unpacked - rather than contain exotic animals, these crates were filled with some of the most imaginative and stunning pieces of clothing ever created.

I’m very honored to have been a part of this historic McQueen retrospective for Vogue magazine and I’m extremely excited about this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s exhibit: “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.” The Gala event is May 2nd.

MODELS WITHOUT MAKE-UP.

We models often have to get our makeup done 4 or 5 times a day so, believe me, we are THANKFUL for a day without make-up. As a member of the  Seventeen Beauty Peace Council I participated in their national “Beauty Peace - Day without Make-up” on April 13th. 

The message? With or without make-up, we are all beautiful in our own way...check out the video...

The inimitable Boy George presented Coco Rocha with the Best Model award at tonight's ELLE Style Awards.

The Canadian model looked regal in a blush silk and cream lace Alexander McQueen dress. Ever poised and gracious, she took the time to thank loved ones and industry supporters.

"This is an amazing honour -- most models I feel don't get this opportunity."

VMA's Red Carpet Hosted by Coco Rocha

"Two weeks ago I told you I was skipping town on New York fashion week to go host the red carpet event for MTV's VMA's. Turns out it was actually a white carpet but needless to say, it was a very fun experience. For a few hours I was interviewing everyone you can think of and asking them any question I could think of. Really, I had no idea what I was doing but if you missed it I'm posting some of my highlights in this blog. Ryley with her friends Leonardo DiCaprio and Lukas Hass (top left) from the movie Inception. Ryley had a great day with them in Vancouver last week on a yacht with 12 other friends, including Tobey Maguire, (Spiderman top right) and his family. Way to go Ryley!!!
Ryley is off to Montreal this month and then on to confirmed assignments in Paris and Milan.
